Sunday, May 19, 2013 - Unusually light in tone for a Napa Cabernet, the 2007 Heitz Napa Cabernet is very nice. The nose features red and purple fruits, olive, herb, and earth notes. The tannins are tame and balanced, and support the mid-palate notes of cherry, herb, plum, and earth. The finish lasts quite a long time, and reveals hints of cranberry and cherry. In addition, this represents a fantastic value!
