This vintage starts off well - pure grape juice love on the aroma - fruit and vanilla is what you get. it is very thick and opague. ooh yeah. however - it is so hot, so spicy, so tought/biting, that after the first class your tongue and mouth are tired and you really don't want another. I have heard that 08 was a terrible year for Australia b/c of the heat. This wine shows that in spades - too much sugar spelled an over the top wine. This is basically a wine liquor.
