Tuesday, May 19, 2015 - 5-10 years ago the wine would probably receive a much lower rating, but it's ready to drink and will give you it's full potential for an modestly priced bottle. At a purchase price in the mid 20's it's far smoother and provides a longer tannin and leather finish than any California Cabernet priced within $10.

The wine looks ruby colored. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like mushroom, molasses and chocolate. It tastes like nutmeg. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
