The nose was well developed with lots of tertiary scents, raw meat, damped cellar, pencil shavings and new car interior. The fruit was a mix between sour cherry and raspberry candy. On the palate the age was confirmed with a concentrated leather flavor. Tannins still had a bit of grip but mainly the texture was just silky and elegant. The finish was long but thin. I think the wine probably is at its peek soon. It will most likely last a couple of more years, or even improve, but it is not in it for the long run as it missing some tannins, structure and acidity to back it up.
