90 Points

Saturday, January 16, 2016 - Cork was in perfect condition, so perfect infact that I expected it to have been recorked (I don't know if it has been). The nose was well developed with lots of tertiary scents, raw meat, damped cellar, pencil shavings and new car interior. The fruit was a mix between sour cherry and raspberry candy. On the palate the age was confirmed with a concentrated leather flavor. Tannins still had a bit of grip but mainly the texture was just silky and elegant. The finish was long but thin. I think the wine probably is at its peek soon. It will most likely last a couple of more years, or even improve, but it is not in it for the long run as it missing some tannins, structure and acidity to back it up.
