Wednesday, April 21, 2010 - Specific notes lost due to iPhone issue; from memory, a very pretty wine. Displayed floral notes on the nose that reminded me of why I like Howell Mountain cabs so much. If I recall correctly, the palate disappointed a bit compared to the nose - had nice sweet fruit but I had been hoping for some more complexity. Very tasty cab nonetheless, a definite step up from the Howell Mountain bottling but whether it's worth the additional cost is purely a personal thing. Would be very interested to taste this at a later point of maturity.
