Friday, December 15, 2023 - This was in an awkward spot. Pristine bottle and cork. Nose a little shy. A little herbal pepper and on the nose mixed with dried fruit notes. Palate on the narrow vibrant side, but shows some coarse tannins leading into a shorter than expected. Good, just not exceptional. But likely in an odd spot and could use some more time.
Got better in decanter at 3hrs; give this plenty of air.
