Friday, May 19, 2023 - Quite dark red with pale rim, not much brick.
Sweet perfume of damson, dark cherry and violets.
Soft mouthfeel, fine acidity and fine tannins that still have plenty of grip. Nicely aged fruit character, plums and dark cherry, cherry stone zest, hints of earth and coffee grounds. Light to medium intensity, nicely structured especially for its age, with delicious flavours of mature burgundy. Drinking well but not fading particularly fast.
