Saturday, April 9, 2022 - Followed for 5 hours, the nose on the ‘83 Haut Bages Liberal never really shows up. The palate has more appeal with dark fruit, a hint of mint, and unsmoked cigar, but overall it comes across as slightly heavy and loamy without the dazzle of which 83 Pauillac is capable.
