Thursday, April 14, 2016 - The palate is dominated by minerals giving saline tones, but they barely hide the dry but intense notes of peaches, citrus, and flowers. The oak is ever-present but well integrated. The finish is all minerals. A great, cerebral wine.
In contrast, Bouchard's 2008 Chevalier, which is also excellent, was sweeter and showed more fruit and floral intensity and detail.
