2004 Roagna Barbaresco Asili

Community Tasting Note

Thursday, January 25, 2024 - Tasted blind. Unbelievably this is young! Tannins were kicking so we decanted for an hour. Earthy, notes of sour plums, miso, and red cherries. In the palate very fine but gripping dry tannins, ample acidity and great length. It would improve over the five years at least. I can even imagine what the VV cuvée would be like.
