Saturday, October 6, 1990 - With K at home at dinner (coq au vin). Gorgeous ruby. Viscous. Rich bouquet can be smelled from a distance. Bright cherry fruit. Earthy. Exceptional wine in the mouth. Light yet rich. Mouthfilling. Slightly sweet. Not quite as sublime as I remember the 1st time I had this wine, but still fairly complex and certainly quite good. Long on the palate. Probably shouldn't be kept over the long haul. 5-11-16-8: 90/100.
