Tawny appearance, clear, bright and speckled.
Not camphor but coal tar, wet clay and fish oil (iodine?). Ethereal, delicate red fruits and leaf matter. Delicate and lifted but in no way decrepit.
Wow! Such sweetness and intensity on the attack, like redcurrants. Spicy and tangy, lively and savoury with some toasty touches – richness that evokes old farmhouse cider. Brilliant, genuinely pleasurable and a real treat!
