Saturday, April 28, 2012 - i was pleasantly surprised with this one as I am not usually fan of Barossa Valley wines personally. Nice notes of chocolate, cream, cassis and even cinnamon on the nose and flavours of dark chocolate and what i can only describe as a rum taste (a bit sweet).. candy perhaps? Had a nice balance to it, perhaps as the acidity manages to balance the sweetness out.
