Thursday, November 4, 2021 - Yes, this was the real deal and showed similar to my very first encounter I had with this wine around 3 years back. In a vertical of four vintages this to me (and generally echoed around table) was the best (together with 2012 maybe). It was definitely the best drinking. Immediately from first pour it displayed ethereal bouquet with fresh flowers, baking spice, cinnamon, red cherry. The palate is so balanced but so ample and remarkably full with a long finish for the vintage. It's a spectacular wine and sensational 07. I would tend to say that today, from my experience, the very best CLB Reignots (to drink now but also maybe in absolute terms) are 07 and 08.
