Saturday, January 23, 2021 - A nose of custard and hazelnuts.

Drunk for the first time in 2013 according to my notes, this Krug did not run out of breath. On the contrary, we find all that characterizes the house's champagnes: exceptional smoothness with a magnificent touch, a perfect balance with just the right amount of tension in the service of a totally loose material. It unfolds like a parchment, it's as precise as a piece of jewelry and we take great pleasure in it. The finish is very intense, with aromas of coffee.
