Saturday, November 16, 2019 - Saturday (Mostly) Bordeaux Lunch with Friends (Prairie Grass - Northbrook IL): Tasted double blind. Rich black cherry start-to-finish with floral notes and plenty of spice, probably too influenced by too much new oak. Good concentration and length, and very tasty overall. Very modern styled, in fact I thought this from Bordeaux, and other tasters were also in that (non Nebbiolo) camp.
