Sunday, July 24, 2011 - Toscana triumvirate, round #1, meeting #2 (at Yagil's): (opened 4 hours before consumption to below shoulders)
Very dark red-black.
Pleasant classic Cabernet Franc aromas, refined nose of tobacco, berry fruit, light spices and minerals. Classy in its flavors, complex, elegant, with notes of chocolate, vanilla & earth. Plenty of silky tannins. Medium finish. Can be enjoyed on its own or with delicate meat. Hard to recognize that it's 100% Cabernet Franc. Enjoyable!!!
