Wednesday, April 4, 2007 - A well-executed wine. It's simultaneously soft and precise, with a fine, persistent bead, a lovely true pink color, and berry flavors throughout. Strawberry on the nose, tart cherry on the midpalate, and a creamy mousse are all followed by a mid-length finish of something like slate. This is basically what I hope for in a rose: it looks pretty, it tastes fruity, and it's refined and feminine. I do agree with those who say that you have a right to expect more profundity for the price; it's certainly not a monument. I'm inclined to say, though, that it's nicely done.
