Friday, August 1, 2014 - Finally I got round to trying this highly-rated pink champagne. Quite dark. Lovely sugared redcurrant aroma. Great taste. A good classic brut backbone with plentiful round red fruit on top - and a little nectarine and plenty of apple. It's certainly good - but decidedly *not* worth the RRP. However, it was on offer and then I got 25% off on top, so it's fine. [Cork + cage; 12% abv; Sainsbury's, on offer at £50-25%=£37.50]
