Wednesday, October 19, 2022 - So much better than the bottle I had a few years ago. Lovely and bright on the nose, which is complex with red fruit and savory earth, some floral and spice notes too. The palate has filled out since I last had this, and is now showing power and also elegance. The flavors are complex and include a spectrum of fruit and savory, and an undertone of minerality. The acidity is not shy, especially on the finish, but this wine is not at all unbalanced. It probably will benefit from more cellar time so that the palate resolves and offers better articulation and detail.
