    8/28/2023 7:57:00 AM - So many Murricans (I don't know were you are from) speak of Brett as if it is always a direct flaw, as if Brett was something like cork taint. As I'm sure you are aware of, Brett is at the core of every complex wine you ever enjoyed from the Oole Woorl. Murricans usually also speak of receding fruit as "dying" instead of: maturing.

    I think a low level of Brett can add interest to a red wine but it is NOT necessary for a great or complex wine. Same for acetobactor.
