Sunday, February 21, 2010 - Inky color. Nose of stewed purple plum, blackberry and some chocolate covered cherry. Non fruits include earth, pencil shaving, vanilla - the sweetness of the oak was in perfect balance. Tannins were soft. Evolved over the course of two hours - tasted with the 04 Lascombes. So different - but both outstandng.
