Friday, February 17, 2012 - Not an enjoyable wine. I found this bottle to be sour and very tannic. We drank this side by side with an '07 Franciscan Cab ($19) and all thought the Franciscan was the MUCH better wine...not sure who has it wrong here, me or the pros.

3/2/2012 7:57:00 PM - I agree. We just tasted 2001 Lalande, it is still not ready for drink. It need 4-5 hours decanting. In Robert Parker's "Parker's Wine Buyer's Guide", it is said "now-2018" for drink. Parker is absolutely wrong.
