Friday, December 28, 2012 - Bright garnet color. Smelled of caramel and blueberries, intoxicating scent. Tasted of classic tobacco, cedar, dark berries. Fine tannins. Still young, and needs more time, but outstanding now nonetheless. Reminds me of why I love Bordeaux in classic years and why I am glad that the hype-market misses years like 2001.
