Saturday, November 8, 2014 - Decanted and drank over 2 hours, then let it sit for 5 hours prior to finishing it off. The evolution took this wine to a very nice place. Gorgeous Pauillac nose, with black currant, some roasted meat, leather, violet, pencil lead, and some mild barnyard funk (that blew off pretty quickly). Medium-bodied with a long finish. This was a really elegant wine that has a lot of life left. Firm tannins still abound.
