Sunday, January 11, 2015 - A beautifully graded dark red colour to the rim. Oak and lemons on the nose, with distant floral overtones. Nothing that special, but then tasting gave so much more: a full tannic blanket was spread over it, but with some gorgeous sweet toffee and lemon juice dominating. Cherries and roast beef somehow combined in this changing, elusive palate. Acidity was present, apparently diluting, and the length was extended to about 40 seconds by the lemon and tannin. Very good.
