Sunday, August 5, 2018 - I love this wine!!!! Black currant, silky long finish, medium to full body. Awoke after 17 years and it's alive an kicking... Took nearly 2 hours to round itself out, but it became spectacular... I have had many Pichon Lalandes over the years ('88, '89, '90, '94-97, '12, '14) This one is closest to the '96. If you like a heavier Pichon, this is a pretty good one to sample now. It could probably go another 10 years easy, but not sure it gets any better than it is now... Good QPR considering what the '95-96 bring...
