Monday, March 1, 2021 - Just gorgeous. Enjoyable from first pour after a 30 min decant, really came alive after two hours as is typical of Lalande. A bit funky initially, which blew off to reveal Deep pure delicious layers of medium weight fresh pure Pauillac in all its earthy cassis glory, with a dollop of plums and leaves. I’m loving 01s, more so than many “better” vintages.
