Sunday, March 31, 2013 - 60+ years - what can I say? apparently a perfectly stored bottle. high neck. Color still alive with obvious signs of age. Brownish Rim. Herb scents, soil - like an old Burgundy, believe it or not. Tannins were gone but still noticeable acidity. Very interesting and worth the effort. With the food it went from strength to strength. Sweetness of death, as my Sommelier friends tell me. And so it happened - after the Sweetness he died - 2 hours after I opened it. An awsome experience
