The wine is deep ruby

Nose
The wine is pronounced intensity with primary aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, black plum, dried herbs, earth, pencil shavings, white pepper, and old oak.

Palate
The wine is a dry acid bomb with medium, soft tannins, high alcohol and a medium body. The wine exhibits medium flavors of blackberry, sour cherry, black cherry, and faint sage.

Conclusions
This wine is good. Despite the very high acid, the wine is fairly well balanced among the alcohol, acid and tannins. The fruit flavors are not as forward as they once likely were given the age of the wine
