Thursday, April 18, 2019 - Right upon PNP you could tell that this was going to be special. Sweet truffle, leather and plum aromas wafted off the neck of the bottle. I allowed it to open for approximately 40-minutes in the decanter

Nose: Perfumed, huge nose of Cherry, truffle, cedar, plum, chocolate, woodsmoke and roasted berry notes. Precise and expressive of Pomerol in a very indulgent way. Palate: Broad and layered in the mouth giving cherry, plum skin, shaved truffles, chocolate and cedar. Touches of raspberry sauce and floral notes as well. Complex and multi-dimensional to the final sip. Finish: remains resonant bringing back many mid-palate notes for well over 45-seconds on the finish.

This was consumed from 375 and had spent much of its life in an excellent cellar. These have years ahead.
