Monday, January 1, 2018 - Semana de Reyes; 1/1/2018-1/7/2018 (Madrid): 6th of twelve. Drinking this wine since 2009. Half case is gone.
Traditionally my wine for new year's lunch.
Earthy and beefy on the nose. Notes of smoky cherry liquor. Masculine to the bone. Delicious and quite long. Rich 1er Cru? Rather it retains some of the strength of the 1999 vintage. Serious Cazetiers. My kind of Gevrey.
Confit de canard, what a match.

Seis de doce. Bebiendo este vino desde el 2009. Medio caja ya se fue.
Tradicionalmente es mi vino para el almuerzo de año nuevo.
Terroso y carnoso en nariz. Notas de licor de cereza ahumadas. Masculino hasta la medula. Delicioso y bastante largo. Un 1er Cru abundante? Más bien conserva parte de la fuerza de la cosecha de 1999. Serio Cazetiers. El tipo de Gevrey que me va.
Confit de canard para sacarle un buen partido.
