No pop but still a gorgeous mousse, deep and full bodied but with high acidity and noticeable tannin. Seems ripe and very low dosage. Very well made - rich and natural oxidation. Amazing combination of Pinot fruit, freshness as if a BdB and a very classy mousse and mouthfeel. The sensations over-ride the palate of crunchy apple, honey and cinnamon- and faintly chalky and floral nose. Great with or without food. I paired with an aged cohiba piramides extra. 94-95pts
