This is very light for a pinot based wine and would be best served on its own or with light appetizers rather than with a meal. Pick this up if you can find it for under $50. Once you get over the $50 range there are too many other great champagne's that are a better value in my eyes. For example, this cannot compare with the 2002 Camille Saves at the same price point.
