Monday, August 24, 2020 - Decided to double decant. Almost purplish black in color. Some lightening around the edges. Blackberries, blueberries, kirsch, shiitakes, and same bacon fat. Lots of dark fruits throughout.
Fleshy and mouth coating, but with still being medium-bodied. Sweet tannins that have integrated, ending with a decent finish. This may have a few years yet but no need to wait, IMO.
