Thursday, December 15, 2011 - From magnum. Nose really shows lots of age with musty character and advanced orchard fruit. Palate is much less advanced, with reasonably balanced flavors of apple and pear, along with background spice. Certainly not oxidized, but certainly oxidizing faster than other bottles of this same wine that I've had before. Tasting as approximately an 88 point wine tonight.
