Wednesday, August 3, 2011 - Light golden colour with some greean and orange reflexes. The nose is very mineral with cruched stones and smoke. Also toast, almonds and other assorted nuts and a nice fruit mixed with notes of honeysuckle. On the palate the wine blooms into a cascade of flowery, rosted and nutty notes, mixed with citrus. The stony minerals are there, the acid is still fresh, the mouthfeels big and a bit oily. Exqusite balance ang good lenght. good development over the two hours it took to empty the bottle.

A fantastic wine! I fall completely for the nuts, the minerals and the generous but still fresh mouthfeel. If there is anything missing, one could perhaps wish for more fruit.
