Saturday, January 2, 2010 - The bottle looked perfect and the wine showed a bright medium+ yellow center with light rims. The nose displayed a medium+ intensity crystalline citrus core with some cardamom, toasty oak, and Burgundy funk. It was quite round in the mouth with a citrusy, rich mid-palate that seemed a bit fat and creamy until the acids arrived in the long, refined finish. This wine needed 1.5 hours to show in top form and peaked after about 2 hours. Outstanding and at peak!
