viscous but a shadow of what it was meant to be when opened. Completely changed in 2 hours. It is now honeyed, viscous and delicious, long and concentrated.

My last bottle of this wine and again it was perfect looking in, and out, of the bottle. The wine was the same as described in my prior notes. Please see them for further details. While this wine is at its peak, my guess is that it will last for quite a few more years.

This wine was from the same lot and was extremely similar to my prior note. It seemed not quite as rich on the palate as the last bottle but still impressive. Refined and maybe the acidity would be too rounded (by time) for some but it had lovely flavors and I liked it quite a bit.

The bottle looked perfect and the wine showed a bright medium+ yellow center with light rims. The nose displayed a medium+ intensity crystalline citrus core with some cardamom, toasty oak, and Burgundy funk. It was quite round in the mouth with a citrusy, rich mid-palate that seemed a bit fat and creamy until the acids arrived in the long, refined finish. This wine needed 1.5 hours to show in top form and peaked after about 2 hours. Outstanding and at peak!

The Paulee de Hersh (Casa Hersh): Slightly tainted. Concensus was that it wasn't corked. Tough on the mid palate. Controversial if I remember correctly. Others - comments?
