Saturday, December 21, 2013 - Opened, but not decanted, about two hours before drinking. Initial impression was underwhelming. Nice nose, fairly rich, and a good finish, but it lacked fruit and/or the "Wow" factor I had expected. However, after another hour, it finally started to open up, revealing more fruit, some chocolate, and some coffee. Maybe I'll learn someday - this wine needs to be decanted!
