Community Tasting Note

Night Train Likes this wine:

Sunday, October 12, 2014 - Opened and decanted, but only about 30 minutes before tasting. Assertive nose - charcoal, licorice and blackberries. Blackberries on the palate, with hints of sweetness and heat. Tongue-coating viscosity, producing a 30+ second finish. Terrific wine, but I didn't quite see God, so it "only" gets a 96 rating. Amazingly, it still needs some time in the bottle before peaking.
