Monday, July 13, 2015 - A stunning wine with impeccable balance. All of the things you would expect from Quilceda: blueberry, blackberry, cassis, with secondary nuances of cedar, menthol and a touch of vanilla. Full body, but the balance is so precise that it does not come across as at all heavy. Leaning slightly more to CA than BDX, it possesses elements of both. Smooth body, very complex and a long finish. This wine exudes class. Probably at or near peak, but certainly seems able to go much longer. Extraordinary. www.advinetures.ca
