Saturday, April 24, 2004 - Wonderful, classy, elegant cabernet. Opened up very quickly, menthol and licorice nose, silky smooth very refined taste. Dark fruits, a somewhat brooding and reserved attack, but wonderfully rich. Nice balance, has all the elements to age nicely but should definitely be experienced now as well. I'd be very surprised if this one enters into any "closed" state along the way. A fabulous effort by QC.
