Saturday, May 1, 2010 - Ran through an aerator and returned to bottle, left at room temperature for 24 hours. Quite approachable. Nose of cinnamon, cinnamon, cinnamon. Aromas of warm brioche, and notes of hoisin/soy and some floral elements. Deep veins of blackberry in the mouth, very juicy. The acid was quite high, hopefully will resolve itself and balance out in the next few years. I would call this an "elegant" cabernet. I have three more bottles, so we'll see what this looks like in 4 or 5 years. I purchased this at a discount, but it is worth the full price.
