Thursday, December 5, 2013 - This wine is showing alot of early promise.

Deep ruby with a tinge of purple on the rim. The nose is of juicy black currants, stewed plums, mocha and sweet cherry oak. The flavours on the palate are of bruised plums, dusty oak and tar. At the moment, the acidity and tannins seem to be competing for the upper hand, but none of the components stand out, which shows excellent aging potential.
