Saturday, August 6, 2016 - Big blackcurrant and oak nose, later cedar and tobacco. Good fruit, loads of soft tannins. Well balanced and excellent length. 13pc alcohol is refreshing. Clearly a hot vintage and avoided over ripeness. An interesting comparison to the 1982 drunk recently. This is more modern in style and will still improve over the next few years and last for 30.
