Wednesday, September 6, 2017 - Garnet purple, opaque, good clarity. Smells are blackberries, currants, smoke, meat, dark cherry, and earthy notes. Tastes are dark cherry, smoke, hoisin, black olive, earth, blackberry, cedar, and tobacco. The acidity is bright and the tannins are powerful and velvety. Very complex and dry.
