A sense of the exotic with a lick of acidity on the finish to keep things in check. Evolves quite a lot in the glass, losing its joke de giver, and then recovering to a more classical frame. Extra density over the Gevrey 1er flight, but not quite the pizazz for immediate pleasure. ****
