Wednesday, April 10, 2013 - Sam's Club had this on clearance for 7.59 or something. I'm not really a merlot fan but this one is nice. Dark, with a some earth and tobacco on the nose. Ripe, but the fruit is not over the top, nicely balance with earth, tobacco, and light spice. Full bodied...16% alcohol on the label, but it is well hidden. Nice ripe round tannins. Drink up, at some point the alcohol may overwhelm everything else.
