It has reached early maturity now, and the crisp acidity and fierce, salty minerality in this angular, citric (lemon juice, lime zest, grapefruit bitter) wine are now softened by the gentleness of some bottle age. Totally uncompromising, this is an intellectual rather than a hedonistic wine, a wine for purists. I confess to being one.
